A good brow bar is predictable: you can see healed work, the technician asks questions, and the space is clean. Pretty feed photos are not proof. Look for reviews about aftercare, skin types that resemble yours, and whether someone will say no if a treatment is a poor match.
Check the treatments offered
Lamination, tint, wax, henna and permanent makeup are different skills. Pick a salon that actually offers the treatment you want, and can explain what it is not. A long menu matters less than healed photos of the one service you came for.
Look at salon reviews
Read recent reviews, not only the score. Note healed results, whether the technician listened, and what happened when something went wrong. Several plain accounts of aftercare beat one glowing paragraph.
Look at photos
Ask for healed photos from that technician, not only the salon account. Fresh work always looks tighter and darker. For tint and PMU, the picture that counts is after the first shed or wash. No healed work means you are guessing.
Check the brow specialist’s experience
Ask who will do the work, how long they have done it, and which photos are theirs. Certificates are a starting point, not a guarantee. For PMU, hygiene, pigment choice and honesty about existing pigment or scarring matter more than a job title.
Check location and availability

Why a consultation matters
A consultation is where skin, medication, old pigment and the look you want get checked. Skipping it to “save time” is how mismatched brows happen. If someone starts working without questions, leave.
